SCRIPTURE MEMORY
Romans 8:10–11 (NLT)
And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.
Ephesians 6:13 (NLT)
Put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

Here is the description from Right Now Media:
"Archaeologist and author, Dr. Titus Kennedy, explores the scripture, history, archaeology, and evidence for the ancient world surrounding Jesus Christ and his ministry. The home base for the show is Dr. Kennedy’s research lair, a secret basement where he stores maps, slides, tools, and artifacts from his various excavations and adventures. In addition to teaching with a collection of old school resources, Titus treks outside his lair for special visits to Israel’s archaeology sites and museums. Designed for all ages, Excavating the Evidence for Jesus is fun and educational, encouraging families to dig deeper into the Gospel accounts together."

Volunteer Highlight

Rose Shifler is our Vision Team Member of the Month! We want to say a huge "THANK YOU" for serving and for your passion for leaving a legacy in our Bethel Kids!
Here is some information about them
to get to know her a bit better:
How long have you been working with kids?
I have been serving in kids since I was in middle school. I started in the nursery at the church I grew up going to.
Why do you love working with kids?
I love working with kids because you never know what you’re going to get and they keep you on your toes. They make me laugh a lot. I love serving the younger generation because I know that even thought they’re young now when they grow up and have children of their own, they will teach them to know and love the Lord as well.
Do you have any interesting facts or words of wisdom to share with the parents and kids?
A few months ago I came across a daily devotional called Sing. Every weekday morning I get a link texted to me that has a worship devotional. The host will pray over you, share scripture & the history of a worship song, and then invite you to sing the song with them. This is an amazing way to start my day. It’s not over stimulating and would be great to play in the car for your kiddos on the way to school or daycare. This devo opens the door to theological discussion. You not only get to spend time with the Lord but you learn new worship songs as well.
Also send your kiddos to camp! I can look back and see how to Lord moved in me through those fun but meaningful summer weeks (Camp Yolijwa, Camp Joy El, etc.)
Where do you work? What are your hobbies?
I was born and raised in Chambersburg! I love our community and the valley scenery the Lord has blessed us with! When I’m not at church, you can find me working at the court office in Scotland. When I’m not working, I love baking, spending time with my beautiful nieces, going on adventures with my friends, thrift shopping with my sister, listening to Dolly Parton and worship music, playing card games with family, and spending time with Andrew (especially at Motezumas!!!)
